I am a family member of a current PT at the Genesis location in Milford, DE. Please audit therapist Kristen Shockley. If my loved ones insurance company approved an hour of therapy or 30 minutes or what have you, you are obligated to provide that time. This person in every aspect is committing insurance fraud. Also, this particular woman often smells like booze and marijuana. Does Genesis not drug screen their employees? I do not care what you do outside of work, I care about my loved one so they can get better and leave the facility. This particular employee is unfit for any facility in my opinion and should find a different line of work. My family member is due to leave the facility in a couple of weeks but if these issues are not addressed and they continue as such, I will be contacting the state. Completely inexcusable and illegal.

My husband was at the Willows, 225 Amity Road, in Woodbridge, CT for 4 days. Of the 4 days he was there he was brought to the ER 3 times; once for an infection (which I understand) and the other 2 times were due to a fall, one of which the nurse was standing there. This is highly unacceptable. I also noticed when picking up his belongings that my husband had been in the same clothes that he came to your facility with for 4 days. His clean clothes that I brought in were never touched. Does this mean he was never washed up. I find this unacceptable and unhealthy. Also, the handling of him was not good. He was a very frail man with many issues but yet was put in a wheel chair with great force, which led to more complications. He was mentally and physically abused. Lastly, at mealtime they would not cut his food as he was unable to do it. Food was usually cold.
