I have been trying to reach your customer service, a person/human to talk to and get assistance about my benefits for the last 4 days and all I get was the same recorded message of the wait is "an hour and use our online".. No matter what time of the day I call.. After 4 days of trying, I had to call the headquarters of avmed hoping to speak with a person. I spoke to Rebecca who transferred me to sharon robison and to Cici Alvarez. I left messages for both of them hoping somebody would call me back.. All I need is somebody to help me with questions regarding benefits and help me pick a doctor... It is a horrible experience, no customer service, and as a new member, they gave me a horrible taste in my mouth. They are more than happy to get your money but they are unhappy answering the phones. I have tried every single number on the card including the nurse line. The nurse answered and transferred me back to the same main number with the recorded message of one hour wait, so I had to hang up, as usual. I had to cancel my doctor appointment because I could not reach avmed for verification or information...? And now I'm trying to make an appointment, but, again, nobody to talk to at avmed...
