I have been trying to purchase a car from CarMax since September. I drove to Atlanta Ga to get a 2017 Nissan Maximum. I was locked out of my payroll website after to many tries, so the car did not come home with me. I called on that Monday to see if I could have the $250.00 waived because I did not want to drive all the way back to Atlanta. five hours from me. The Rep Cameron informed me that it should not be an issue. Well it was. The car was shipped and I had no clue it had made it to Gainesville. No one from the local store informed me that they car was here. no phone call no text and no e-mail. I was in contact with Car Max care team all this time as well. October 12, I went to the local dealership to get the car. I was informed that the car was being shipped to Miami. and the person who paid for it wants to keep the car. I was livid angry and mad. The manger didn't help and did not have a solution at all for me. the Sales person K ellis was the only person who tried to make the situation better. So we find a car, and they ship it from Mississippi. My pre-approval no down payment and 775.00 per month. Well I went to pick the car up on Monday 10/25/2021. The store manger review the finale paperwork and there was a discrepancy in my pay. I tried to explain this to her and she wasn't having it at all. We may have gotten a little loud., but I was not screaming. I left the store. I went home upset and beat. The next day Tuesday I texted K. Ellis to inform her of the out come. in the meantime I called the cooperate office again. This time I was on hold for long periods of time, I was hung up on. Then I was just plain out lied to about having a solution made. K Ellis texted me and stated that because I called cooperate again that she could not assist me any longer. After being on hold for two hours a rep by the name of Anthony informed me that I was banned for life in doing business with Car Max, with all the stores. I am hurt and I frustrated.
Desired outcome: I was banned from all car max stores for life . I would like to still do business with them
I was a little upset and frustrated, but with everything that I went thru. I was banned because I called the corporate office . The store manger was un helpful and gave this vibe of oh well. I do feel discriminated against, because had I been white. The issue would have been quickly resolve
