I come here every day, purchase breakfast lunch or dinner daily. Therefore I have gotten to know several employees by name and they know me. There has been a recent turnover of personnel both in management and general help. Before there was no constructive criticism. Now, with new management, I observe arguments with employees and management notably with Anthony (AJ). They take the employee either outside to chastise them or in the dining area. Either way patrons view this as unsatisfactory. Now, as for the men's restroom it is always dirty, trash not emptied, urinal is smelly, the mirrors are dirty. The dining area is always being swept, however the window sills, seats and tables are not wiped thoroughly. There is still ketchup or mustard still visible on the tables. I was told I spend to much time here, perhaps this is true . So, Anthony claims there were complaints filed regarding that issue. He and I talked and came to an amicable agreement. I left for a few days. I came back today and when he came in, he said there is "No Smoking" permitted on the outside deck. I was told to go off the property to smoke. I complied, there is no sign and others (including employees) were smoking where I was and he said nothing to them. I feel as though he wishes for me to leave. Now, the General Manager Jean, talks to me and is cordial. Even when Jean has to discuss matters with an employee he is tactful in doing so. Now, as for the ice cream machine, the maintenance people are here every week having to fix it. They lose business when it is not operating. I see people walk out without buying anything because of it. I also see people upset by going through the drive through and get the wrong order. Now, they have to park and come inside, get the front counter persons attention to get the order correct. The whole idea of having a drive through is so people do not have to wait in line inside the store. This happens on an average of 4 times per hour. I watch it happen, you have cameras installed, someone needs to use them. There are several managers, Jean, Anthony (AJ), Makayla, Mika and another man that I do not see very often. Makayla and Mika are the best ones because the employees respect them as do the patrons. In the time Anthony (AJ) has been here I have heard nothing but negativity about him and recently he has exhibited that behavior towards me. When he gets upset, he stutters and spits. I hear him along the preparation line getting annoyed, so in my observation he needs to use a mask to prevent his saliva from contacting the food. At times I see people in the preparation line not using latex or rubber gloves while handling the food. I can just as easily contact the HEALTH DEPARTMENT but I would rather see the corrections made internally. I also observe employees smoking marijuana on the dining deck when their shift is over while waiting for a ride. I am not going to turn anyone in for this, just know that you have cameras, please utilize them. I realize people need to work and this establishment is known for rapid turnover, however, when interviewing perspective employees look at they dress for the interview, their mannerisms while in the interview. Sometimes it is better to hiring someone without experience in the fast food industry because then you can train them the right way. Rotate your staff, allow them to experience the business from top to bottom. Thank you for your time!
