I was 6 month behind on my monthly payments and asked them to work with me saving my home, I did not wanted to loose it, I didn't care how much I owed on it as long as the payment was reasonable.
They didn't care and told me there's nothing they can do for me, they actioned my house to themselfes for 76k and forced me out of my home. I bought it originally for 305k in 2005-6
I admit that I couldn't keep up and part of it is my fault but this perticular bank didn't care

In Feb of this year I went to KB Home and found a house that I liked and agreed to use Nationstar and had that put in my contract. I filed out a credit application and was pre-qualified for 225000 on a house that was to be built. Nationstar ran my credit and told me the only thing i need to do was to pay off my credit cards (which was 2000). The beginning of April I got a email from Robert Reber from Nationalstar with a list of things I needed to send him. I sent him the information near the end of April-first of May. I then sent him an email asking if everything was ok and I got a reply stating that KB Homes had asked him to send all my paperwork to another bank and that the other bank would be in touch with me.
I never gave Nationstar nor KB Home my permission to do this. Nationstar never said there was any issues with the amount. This bank completely ignored the privacy law. Since I found out about what they and KB Homes have done, I have file a complaint with the CFPB, the VA and soon the Attorney Generals Office of the state of Florida. There will be more complaints to follow.
It's not your fault, it's the economy and the banks. Nationstar will not work with anyone, they just want the property. I'm going thru the same thing with them. Hang in there.
