This is a complaint against Acceptance Now located inside Rooms to Go. The address is 10790 Pines Blvd. Pembroke Pines, FL 33026 and phone number is 954.430.6141
The manager named Myra did not clearly explain the final charges owed on my account. My money paid to them did not match the amount owed on their computer system. Myra purposely navigated in haste through her computer screen when explaining the charges. Her fast-paced explanation was a deliberate attempt to confuse me. Her only explanation was that the dollar amounts differ because that is how her system shows.
I believe Acceptance Now purposely deceives their customers with hidden charges. I say "hidden" because they cannot clearly explain what a customer pays against the balance owed.
I believe if a customer pays a dollar amount and is confused about the balance owed, everything should be clearly seen and easily explained. This is not the case with Acceptance Now.
I was forced to pay up to over $311 more than what I calculated as my final balance owed. If I did not pay that amount, my balance owed was scheduled to jump to over $1000 more.
These deceptive consumer-seller practices are fraudulent. I have already filed a case against Acceptance Now with the Better Business Bureau. I will also continue to use social media outlets to warn consumers about Acceptance Now and Rooms To Go since this is their finance company.
