Chrysler - poor customer service

I received a letter regarding a recall on my 2014 dodge dart a few weeks ago but at the time, it was just a notification but no replacement parts were available. Yesterday, as I try and park at a local store... My dodge dart would not set at park, starts to roll and I can not remove my key. My son meets me and adjust it so I can get the vehicle home but he makes it clear, we have to take it to the dealership monday morning. I get to the service department promptly at 8:00 when they open and I am greeted with a rude lady by the name of kim. I explain what is going on... She informs that yes, there is a recall but she couldn't tell me when my vehicle would be ready, no loaner car was given and I would have to pay first and then chrysler would reimburse me. First of all... I did not cause the recall issue so I feel it's uncalled for to receive rude service. I am the customer and why should I be without a vehicle regarding a issue that I didn't cause. You expect me to make payments on it. I expect chrysler to watch over me when there is a recall issue that leaves me without means of transportation.

She was more upset that I did not call and make a appointment and starts to raise her voice with me. From my understanding, the service department is off on sunday... How would I make an appointment! Second, I explain to kim this is my only means of transportation and I need a way to work. She shrugged, she couldn't help me. I also informed kim that my car was still running outside so the service department could park the car but they needed to remove my key so it would not ruin my battery. I get a ride home and inform the man that I am dating on how I was treated. He picks me up and takes me back to the service department (1-1/2 hours later) walks in to retrieve the key so he can take a look at it and kim informs us that its still in the car, they couldn't get it out. What the hell!?!? So, your going to let me battery drain and I can replace that too!?!? Totally uncalled for! How is this taking care of a customer?
She is the rudest woman that I ever came across. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone in my hometown and it's a shame! If dodge can not back up their products any better than this, leave customers high and dry, I will trade my vehicle with a company who backs their product and customers.

The only highlight, a maintenance man by the name of brad stopped to give us a hand and make recommendations. He is 100% about customer service and deserves a raise!
