I was in training at this location and I had fallen (not in the workplace) and I got a traumatic brain injury from the fall. I had a note from my neurologist saying I was unable to work and a letter would be written when I was cleared to return to work. my manager told me to file through Reed's group and gave me the number I need to call. I called and it only brought up a fax number line and a line for you to put in the code for current claims. I called my managers serveral times and went in to the restaurant to try to get help one filing this claim. It has been 6 months be and still have had no luck on filing this claim. When I called and asked fo help the manager I talked to was extremely rude and kept telling me I don't know what to tell you and that they had gotten rid of my letter from my Doctor, my copy of my social security card and kept saying to me it was 7 months ago with a belittling tone.hesaid people file these claims all the time and don't have any problems so I don't know why you are and didn't seem to listen to anything I was saying or trying to help resolve anything. im now currently having to stay on a relatives couch and unable to work. I have never felt so disrepected and unimportant but an employer in my time of working. I not sure how to file a claim or if I still can I don't understand why it was so difficult to try to get help.
