Yellow Cab

On the night of Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 I had the worst experience with a cab driver. I had called to take a cab home (didn't live very far, it was dark, and I was carrying a heavy load of laundry). I didn't want to walk home in the dark, carrying said load of laundry. I come out of the apartment complex (neighbor let me use her washer/dryer to do my laundry), looking for the cab.

While I should have stayed where I was, he drives over to the other building, then sees I'm not over there (I came out of the second building), drives round and doesn't even come where I'm standing. I of course ran after the cab to try and flag him down. Keep in mind that I was also carrying my laundry while trying to flag the driver down. The cab leaves, I call him as he called me prior to say that he's on his way. Ok then.

He has the audacity to yell at me over the phone about not answering my phone. I almost to the point of telling myself, told him that I was looking for him and trying to flag him down. So he comes back (he left at this point), and when he picked me up, drives recklessly, and he was just awful. Being in that can made me want to puke because of the way he drove, driving up upon a curb, and I felt like I was going to upchuck.i got out of that cab feeling so damn angry. It was the worst and last experience I have had dealing with yellow cab.

Drivers like the one I dealt with on Saturday make the cab drivers who are actually kind and considerate look bad. This is why people despise taking cabs, because the drivers are so bloody rude. It's why I avoid taking a cab whenever possible. Cab #185, Yellow Cab in Des Moines, Iowa.
