On 8/2/23 my wife took our Tesla Model S to pep boys for installation of 4 Pirelli tires. When she brought the car home I noticed all for rims where scratched along the rim where it meets the tire. My rims were painted black so it was very noticeable. I contacted pep boys and told them about it in store they told me they would have a manger call me. Never called that day. I had to contact the manager the next day, he told me he would file a claim. I asked what where next steps was there a claim number. He said a third party would reach out to me with the claim number and conduct an investigation. No one called. On August 15th I call corporate pep boys and asked them if they could file a claim. They filed a complaint. The same day I called the store again and asked to speak to the owner, the employee had the district manager contact me. He noted he would file an actual claim with the complaint number provided by corporate. He noted someone would contact me in a few days. Today is 8/29 no one contacted me. I reached out to corporate they said there was a note on file that the district manager was to file a claim but no claim number was available. They escalated the complaint. It’s going to cost me at least another $375 to have my rims painted again. It appears no one is trying to file a claim and this is not a large sum of money I’m simply asking them to make me whole.
Desired outcome: I would like the cost of repainting my rims $375 plus taxes.
