Party City

On 7 / 16 / 2014 at 7pm, i went to the highland, in party city and
Purchase birthday fare - almost $100 dollars’ worth. I got home and found
Several things missing out of the bag including the receipt. I went back to the
Store by 8:30pm to get the 2nd bag. The workers ignored me through the glass. I
Knocked on the glass & they reluctantly looked over. They replied
"we're closed" through the glass. I yelled back, "you have my
Purchases" a lady reluctantly came over, unlocked the door & cracked
The sliding doors open enough to talk through. I explained to her that i was at
Her store less than an hour ago & made a purchase close to $100 dollars
& only got half my purchase - can she check to see if there is a bag in the
Back. She glanced over to someone & asked to check real quick & they
Said no. I told her that they must me mistaken, and i named off the items
Missing from my bag. She said there is nothing she can do & that they are
Closing. I ask to speak to the manager, & she said she is the manager. I
Ask for the number & name of her boss & she said call 1800
Party city. I told her, then if i can't get the item i purchased, then i
Want to return all items i have & get my money back. She said that there is
A long process to do that & they would have to itemize before they
Do that. In the end, the female closing manager at the highland, in location
Working on july 16th 2014 was rude, dismissive, treated me as if i was inconveniencing her, and blew me and my concerns off, and wouldn't even let my husband & i into the store - - talked to me & my
Husband through the door instead.
