La-Z-Boy - reclining sofa

Same as others. Deflated cushions within a week, clunking mechanisms, foot board won't go in, angle of chair is bad. Called the store, they won't help. Will send out a private repair person. This set is four weeks old and it looks like it is ten years old. We are seniors, no kids. This is disgusting. Wrote to corporate, no answer. Filed a case with our bank card.

It is approximately 4 weeks old. It looks as tho it is it 10 years old. We are two seniors, not abusing our furniture. This is daily wear that was evident by 5 days after receipt of the furniture. I called La Z Boy Mishawaka and they are sending out an independent repair person, but we do not have confidence in this, and we spent over $4, 000 for this set, and want a new set that holds up. We want to return this set for a refund. We didn't intend to purchase something that needed repair after a few days and is getting worse. The person we worked with at La Z Boy said she could not help us with this. I sent a letter with photos to La Z Boy corporate but have not heard back. We would like a full refund and to return this set.

1. The back cushions of the two electronic recliners are deflated. It is as tho they didn't add enough fill. You can pull the fabric together with your fingers.

2. On one recliner, it clunks, and when you sit on it, you fall onto an angle on the seat that falls into a void in the chair.

3. Each of the foot areas of the recliners do not close evenly with the center chair.

4. The second recliner closes but the foot area just remains, you have to close it manually.

Please ask La Z Boy to return these items and give us a full refund so that we can purchase a set from someone who sells a decent product. This is very upsetting, and Mishawaka is not even interested in coming to see it. Very poor customer service.

La-Z-Boy - rebate fraud

I purchased more furniture than I need because of La-Z-Boy's appealing offer of a $1000.00 in food and fuel rebate offer. 6 months later I received one rebate and now the rebate place for La-Z-Boy have closed their doors. La-Z-Boy has been duing this scam thru out the United States. The last place in Florida with hundreds of thousands of customers in Feburary of 2009, the attorney general of FL. stepped in, So La-Z-Boy knew about this in July 2009 when I came along. So La-Z-Boy gets there money and hides behind there attorneys.
La-Z-Boy of all people! No wonder they have to advertize so much. And all the people in area get scamed. AGAIN

I wish La-Z-Boy in Mishawaka, Indiana would do the same but they offered us $250.00 off the next purchase of furniture. Why would I want to buy from them again? They screwed us! They knew from past La-Z-Boy stores of this scam! La-Z-Scam-Boy is what they should be called.

La-Z-Boy was the company that purchased the Free Gas certificates from another outside source. I know that the Orlando stores took care of their clients. First they sent out notices to their clients that said the first program had filed bankruptcy and they had purchased another certificate for each of us with the same promise. Unfortuatenly that company also went out of business.

La-Z-Boy of Orlando offered us either a Store Gift Certificate equal to the amount we should have received in free gas OR they offered to give us the same rebate program. I selected to receive the rebate program, I send my gas receipts in and they send me the VISA card each month.

I was unhappy with the gas rebate situation as well and I have not seen many other companies taking care of their clients.. most of you are just left out there. At least La-Z-Boy took care of us and I would buy there again and again.
