I was shopping in Oxmoore Mall, as I was walking down the main walk -ways of the mall, a young man approached me from a booth in the middle of the walkway and said "I know you care about fashion, I can tell by the way you are dressed". He told me he would like to show me some products I might be interested in. I walked over and he ask if he could demonstrate the dead sea salt on my hands and I said yes. He had me wash my hands with the Sea Salt and then told me to look at what came off of my hands and it looked like dirty water, and my hands did feel smoother. He then told me that if my hands looked that dirty and felt this smooth, just think about what it could do to my skin. He then showed me some lotion that smelt very good and to apply that also on my hands. It did smell good and my hand felt smooth. He ask me if I would like to purchase both for around $40.00. I don't know excatly, but I know it was forty something. I told him no, My husband just got out of the hospitAl and money was a little tight. He told me if I bought the first set, he would give me the second set for free. I told him that sounded good and I could give my daughter in-law one set. He bagged them up and told me the total, again it was forty something dollars. I handed him my credit card, the whole time he was talking about different things. I hardly remember signing the credit card bill, he then dropped the receipt in the bag. I left and was very tired, I had been to the Dr. that day and I had a one hour and forty five minute drive home. When I got home I looked in the bag to look over my merchandise and found my receipt. To my amazement he had charged my card $106.00, instead of the $40 something he was suppose to charge me and, one of the Milk & Honey Jars of Body Butter had been opened and it looked like it had been used, some was missing. I called the Phone No. on the receipt and the man that answered was Eyal the Supervisor he said. I told him what happened and he said he would talk to Osi the gentleman that had sold it to me and call me back. He called about 15 minutes later and said if I would travel the one hour and forty five minutes back to the mall he would give me my money back. I ask him couldn't he just issue the $50.00 credit they over charged me to my credit card. He gave me the run around. I told him I was going to call my credit card company and Better Business Bureau and tell them what happened, he acted like he didn't even care. I called my Chase Visa and the lady on the phone said since I signed the receipt there was nothing they could do. I do feel stupid at my age 52, to let this happen to me, but I was at one of the best Malls in Louisville, KY, I didn't think about looking at my receipt, especially after he said that will be forty something dollars and took my card and charged it to my Visa card, and then kept talking as he slipped my receipt in the bag. I looked them up on the internet under complaints and there were so many I couldn't read them all. Many people had the same complaint I had. They seem to be very smooth talkers and they are not always truthful. I have learned a big lesson today. I will always look at my receipt and be more aware of smooth talkers. Please read about these people before you buy anything from them. I will make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and I will call the mall they are working in and tell them what happened.
