The Pep Boys

I went into Pep Boy's on 7/14/2022 to have a tire repaired (the front driver), I had to purchase a new tire because they told me they could not repair the tire. 3 days later while getting a headlight replaced at Autozone, I noticed the front driver tire was an old tire. When I returned to the store on 7/18/2022 to ask why a new tire was not put on my vehicle (on the front driver) the front manager Michael told me the tire was placed on the rear of my vehicle. Those are new tires and a different brand. He went on to tell me "Whomever put the new tires on the back took the tire they put on." When I asked why the tire was placed on the rear and which rear tire it was on the rear, he told me it was policy. He was not able to show me a policy where it stated they had to place the tire on the rear. We called his area manager (Jeff), who decided to read me a policy when I asked for the policy, he told me he would copy and paste it in an email to me. I told him I wanted to pull it up and read myself he then told to Google where a new tire should be placed on a vehicle. I in return asked him where I could pull up Pep Boy's policy that states a new tire has to be placed on the rear. Jeff started yelling he wasn't going to argue with me, I was not arguing I was simply asking for a policy that should be available for your customers. When I tried to explain that the warranty is print on the receipts why he couldn't give me the policy, he stated their policy is for pep boys only and not the customers.

I have been a customer of pep boys for several years and this is the second time I have been treated like this. I will no longer give them my money or service. Since they have changed out their management staff the customer service has been horrible.
