Hi
I tried to joined Planet Fitness Saugus through my insurance it cost more but I didn't want to use my bank account as required by PF. When I went on Friday when I was active with my fitness id the person behind the counter wasn't trained to set me up... he didn't know how to do it and I will have to come back on Monday. I paid for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and because of the some theft that occurred in the past he said?... I had to leave, what does that have to do with me? Do I look like a thief? A 61 year old women! I wasn't able to work out this evening or the whole weekend even though I paid... he was taken orders over the phone from someone called the 'assistant manager' Josh.. who doesn't know how to set someone up that signed up through an insurance company either.. The owner of Saugus MA location needs to train their staff — 'STAFF' written on the back of a T shirt doesn't suffice. Left me with a bad feeling about Planet fitness — I think if I was younger I wouldn't have been treated like that — judgement free zone?
I don't think so... I would like to not be followed around the gym like a thief by the staff member telling me "yes you can go work out" — then "no come back" - then "yes go work out"- "no come back" he followed me to the equipment to ask me to come back then asked me to wait - and then finally to leave. Desired outcome: I would like to get set up over the phone so I am not embarrassed and treated like I am trying to get away with something.
