Rite Aid - poor service

Re: Rite Aide Pharmacy located on Mt. Hermon rd in Salisbury, MD. Where do I begin? I have patronized this pharmacy for approximately 10-12 years when it was first Eckert and then switched over to Rite Aide. Over the last 4 years the service has been terrible! It is either an extremely long wait inside or at the drive-thru window. There is no rhyme or reason and no apologies given either. I have difficulties swallowing pills and I had them note that on my account and yet they have switched up meds and neglected to inform me when I pick it up. I have gotten home with the meds and of course can not return them. I arrived to pick up my liquid fosamax and they said they could no longer get that with no efforts to do otherwise or inform me of this in advance of my scheduled pickup date. For the last two months I have gone to get my medicines and been told they have faxed my doctors office for either authorizations or refills and had not heard back from them. 2 months in a row I was told after several calls and visits to call the doctor's office myself. (So, the customer is to call and check on what is the pharmacy's responsibility to do ?) The first time, though steaming, I did so. And the doctor's office never got the request! This month the same thing happened and I am through with Rite Aid and their poor service. There is never any apologies, empathy or any efforts to give good customer service. I am generally quite patient and don't complain publicly or make a fuss. But is the last straw for me. So many times I have left this store frustrated with the service vowing silently not to deal with them anymore yet another month but I would give them another chance simply because this pharmacy is conveniently located to my home. But today I took my business, which they have shown they do not value, to another pharmacy. I will not recommend this store to anyone nor will I go in to purchase cards or other items that I have bought from them in the past. I hope everyone with similar issues with this store will voice their concerns, let all their family and friends know and report their problems. Other stores are waiting for our business and the chance to shine by giving their customers the service they seek, demand and should get.

There is a long wait at the Pharmacy because you're not the only one filling/refilling a prescription. Did you think you were ? Drop it off and come back later.

I waited over 45 minutes for picture reprints only to be tl
told the printer was broke. I called the manager and she was rude.
