Beware of National Tire & Battery!
In April 2020 I purchased tires from Simple Tires and had them delivered NTB on Crain High way Waldorf Maryland. I scheduled an appointment had the tires installed approximately a week later I started hearing a noise like something was rolling around in the tire. I took my vehicle to a tire shop and they showed me where the sensor was broken and someone purposefully taped inside of the tire. I contact Tim the manager at NTB informed him of the problem and he told me that he would order a sensor from Lexus and contact me when it arrives. I went back five time before they got clever to tape the sensor better. The sensor was never fixed and they taped it to the rim so the light would not come on on the dashboard. I communicated with the new manager David and he was no help just stated you was here five times and Tim is now longer here. If you want to be inconvenienced and your car [censored]ED UP take it to NTB with managers and employees with no integrity.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome is an expectation is that the employees and manager would have integrity and replaced the sensor as the manager stated instead of taping the sensor to the inside of the rim.
National Tire & Battery [NTB] - service on my brakes and rotors
To whom this may concern I brought my lexus in 2012 is350 august 4, 2019 to get a few services done such as an oil change, tires, brakes, and alignment. I first ask if they had any promotions and leo curtis stated to me that they didn't have any promotions. Which was a bold face lie when I did some research they had a few promotions online. So later on they had to adjust my bill. Secondly after driving the vehicle for a week I noticed that my brakes was making a really loud noise so I followed up with leo curtis. I was really nervous because of my brakes felt like they wouldn't stop so it was a major concern for me. And safety issue. I spoke with him twice and they still can not fix the issue also after speaking with the district manager he was really not concerned at all and never follow back up with me. He stated to me bring the vehicle back up and he credit me some money to my account but the issue is still not fixed my brakes are still making a really loud noise and feel like they won't stop at all. If someone can please follow up with me I will gladly appreciate it because I felt like I was taken advantage of I spent well over $1300 to get the service is done and to this day the brakes are not done correctly and my will alignment. This service at this location is horrible I even asked the district manager where they certify. His attitude is very nonchalant and should not be working for the company. National Tire & Battery [NTB] - tire purchase, rotation and balance
Two weeks ago I took my truck to NTB to have a tire replacement. The tire was replaced, but they failed to balance the tires. I already had free balancing, which I purchased previously. Last week I took my car to have it serviced, and found out it was running rough because the tires needed balancing. This costed me another $135 for the labor and balancing.
