On 1/24 my doctors office told me to call CVS to confirm they had the prescription on hand before they sent it over to the pharmacy electronically. I did this and, as a sidenote, calling CVS is a hassle because you end up sitting on hold for a long time before someone answers the phone. The person I spoke with confirmed the product was in stock and the prescription was sent. When I went to pick up the prescription I was told they didn't fill it because they didn't have it in stock and hadn't had it for over a month. When I explained I had spoken with someone who said differently the guy just "shrugged" and looked at me like I was full of it. Now I have to call my doctor back and explain all this and I know *I'M* going to look like the liar. This is the final straw for me. I have not liked CVS from the beginning because my monthly prescriptions get messed up every month. Every single month, invariably, at least one of the prescriptions gets overlooked and I have to take what they filled and then return for the missing one later. It's a pain. The only alternative is to call the and confirm they filled everything like they're a bunch of children that need to be reminded to look for ALL the prescriptions. It's a sloppy and careless store because this happens *incessantly*. It's so aggravating and nobody even apologizes or takes any amount of responsibility. The culture at retail CVS stores is like one you'd encounter at a Verizon call-center. Nobody that works at CVS cares about CVS's reputation. Nor do they care about CVS's customers. I don't need this problem resolved, I'm resolving it myself by never going back there. I already called my doctors office and switched my pharmacy information. I just wanted to complain in order to document the fact that CVS is incompetent and doesn't take care of their customers. In the past year I've been dealing with them they have always been sloppy, careless, error-prone, and bad at customer service. Now I can add that they are completely untrustworthy as well.
Desired outcome: Document complaint in hopes that CVS will be reviewing these someday.
