01/18/2020, was informed of the incident, A great worker was terminated from our store and it breaks my heart that a company that promotes family and togetherness would do a associate this way. Kaylah K. Hamilton was an amazing worker she trained me and showed me the ends and out of customer service, taking pride in my job even if it gets difficult. Kaylah was terminated after a Rude, disrespectful customer pushed her to her limit. The lady was very rude and made a scene at the front register refusing to leave the store and continued to call Kaylah names and say "you people"." You People' is very racist and threatening. To know that she was terminated for defending herself, is very shameful and sad that a company of this caliber would do. Kaylah has worked very hard to get to where she iswas in the company, and to know that she was treated this way is disgusting. The customer is not always right.. and I have worked in customer service for over 20 Years. Did anyone take into consideration, the safety of Kaylah? Where was management? and God Knows where was security? She is a mother, a daughter a sister and no one protected her. Old Navy didn't protect its employee... Old Navy protected OLD NAVY... and the RUDE customer was the winner. Shame on YOU and the management team... This entire incident needs to be reinvestigated. PROPERLY.
That just says that customers can say and do whatever they want and get away with it. who protects us...
Very Upset and disappointed

Sorry to hear about the employee at Old Navy, these companies just don't care about their employees anymore. You all should have organized a few locations after that incident and walked out. These corporations are just scumbags.
