I chose to celebrate my 30th birthday dinner at the Ruth's Chris location in Weehaken, NJ on Sunday July 14, 2019. I have a few complaints but the main one is me not receiving the Gift Cards!
My event planner that I worked with was David Stern and when he emailed me the information about the dinner (i.e. the menu, deposit amount, etc) he included a line that stated "And great news! We now have a special summer booking incentive whereby you will receive a $50 gift card for every $500 spent on food and beverages. It's like free money that you can use between July 15th and early October!"
My bill was well over $2000 btw.
As you can see I am writing this email on October 24 and I still have not received the Gift Cards and according to that line, I can no longer use the Gift Cards.
I have emailed David and he apologized saying that he was out of the office for a few days (he wasn't even present for my birthday dinner!) and he needed my address to send the Gift Cards to. I provided him my address and I never heard back!
Another followup I sent to him, he said that he needed to look at my bill and he would get back to me. Never did!
Every time I call and ask to speak to him, I am told he is not in and he will call me back once he returns. Never did!
While planning my dinner, he was readily available but now that my event is over its like he threw me to the curb. When he informed me of the $50 GC incentive that was another plus for me to have my birthday dinner at this location.
I am not happy and all I want is the GCs as promised. A friends birthday was in August and I was hoping to bring her here to celebrate and potentially use the GC's. Either way, It is something I was promised and I have all emails from David stating this.
Thank you I will do that now! Such a Huge disappointment!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
