I purchased 1 Gatorade at $2.69 but was charged $15.51. When I informed the cashier she had to run out and catch the other employee that had just clocked out. My first thought was why did the cashier not get trained to do refunds if she’s left alone to run the store. The other employee came back to help and she seemed nice, she apologized for the wait. She asked for my receipt, the cashier told her it was the one in her hand. Instead of voiding the transaction she went back to the floor and grabbed the same items that were added to my total. Coincidentally it was all her items that she “purchased” before she left the store at the end of her shift. She rang up the items and handed me $3 and some change. I asked where the rest of my money was and she immediately got defensive and loud. She asked if I got gas and I said no, only the one Gatorade. I asked her how much was I charged on my card, she says $15.51 and asked me again if I got gas and asked to see my receipt which she still had in her hand. At this point I’m getting upset because it’s easy math, I am still owed money. Then she admits it was her transaction that was added to mine and she was the one that got $7 in gas as well. She claimed the system had been doing that all day. I’m already irritated so I started to walk away from the register when she tells me she still owes me money. I said that’s exactly what I just said to you and she responds with that’s what I’m telling you. She then started talking in 3rd person as if I was not there, she had an attitude and started praying to god for strength. She handed me $7 and continued to say things loudly as I walked away. I was not refunded the correct amount so I hope this is sent to the store and district manager to get resolved.
