I used to get all of my medications on the same day - A service Rite Aid advertises. When on auto refill, the meds arrive at the store AFTER I am out. I have to call and request that they fill them and get attitude from the revolving door of employees. Other times, I put in a request in the morning (8am), and when I arrive at 5 pm, I'm told, it's not ready yet, give us 30 min. My Dr. has sent in prescriptions that state, to be picked up on X date, so that I have it a day before I run out, and they refuse to dispense it. This is the same Dr that has prescribed my meds for over ten years. This month takes the cake though. One of two meds was ready for pick-up, and I always pick these two up on the same day. I called about the one that wasn't filled, and was told it was too early. I asked how that could be, and was told that it would be in later that day (4-5 pm). When I said that I wasn't waiting until 4 or 5 pm, she said she could do a partial fill. So, now next month, they are going to make me wait because they didn't want to do a partial fill on the day a medication was due? I get the same script EVERY month for 3 years, I can't help the poor medication management, but It sure is my problem. A couple of months ago, I called about a med that I was supposed to be picking up, and the girl said, that's not due until the 26th, to which I replied, today IS the 26th. After being put on hold, she came back and said this is why we don't like to do partial fills, we'll have it ready in an hour. I have nothing to do with them doing a partial fill, and then I have to make another trip to the pharmacy, AND get attitude when they do it? I have spoken to someone at Rite Aid (corporate, not at the store) who was going to take care of the problem, and now it's even worse. This pharmacy is very convenient, but the service at the pharmacy is AWFUL! The staff is constantly changing, and always seem overworked and stressed out. I don't want to find a new pharmacy, but I can no longer accept such poor service.
Desired outcome: I’d like to pick-up all prescriptions on the same day each month - before I’m out and have to call the store
