On january 1, 2019 I visited new york time square I was so excited because I hadn't been in a bebe store in quite a while since they closed the one in norfolk virginia at mcarthur mall I enjoyed shopping in the store the associate was very helpful and I end up purchasing a sweater, a pair of jeans and a sequin romper I was unsure of the romper when I was in the store but the associate assured me that it was a cute romper but when I get back to the hotel I decided that I didn't want it so I ended up returning it to the store on january 3, 2019 as I entered the store I was greeted and asked could I be helped with something I said yes I have a return the associate yelled across the store to another lady I need you at the front when I get to the register she say what do you want.. I mean what do you need what can I help you with I said I have a return and handed her the garment I said the receipt is inside she asked me was anything wrong with it I told her no.. I said I didn't really like the cut outs I don't think it would look right on me she flipped the romper in side out and said i'm not taking it back it's dirty I was disgusted to see the inside of the romper during the inspection of the garment we found caucasian hair left on the underside. I did not wear it I tried it on in the store never took it out the bag other than to bring it back in the store to return it I am very disgusted and my stomach hurt to know that that garment was not inspected prior to me purchasing it but evidently it had been returned before because it wouldn't have been damaged and sold to me. I'm really bothered and out raged at the fact that I bought a pre-used garment I really expected more quality out of bebe.. A previous damaged garment and now is refusing to return my money and it was already damaged goods prior to my purchase.
