The person at the counter told me "if you don't have a reservation, I can't let you in" I told him "you haven't even checked the capacity. I got out of work and I went straight here". He didn't let me in. So, I went outside and waited 15 min; 8people came out and 1person went in.
I went back to him and he again didn't let me in so, I asked for a manager. "There is no one else here", he said. I asked for his name, he said Tony.
He was very rude and impetuous.
The reservations are regulations that everyone has to respect; employees and users, not to utilize them against clients. They are to protect all of us. It seems that he didn't let me in because I didn't have a reservation but the truth is that I could have gone inside because there was room for a person (AND MORE).
I'm very respectful of the social distancing measures but he didn't check that the first time, definitely not the second time. And on top of that, I saw with my own eyes a few people leaving the gym.
Here is the thing, my job schedule is constantly changing, so I'm not able to set up reservations all the time. I'm sure there's a lot of people like me.
This is the very first time that an employee doesn't let me in and on top of that without a valid reason.
This is a formal complaint. I'm extremely upset about what happened today and I would like to know if this is going to be a recurring situation, so I can act accordingly. Thank you.
Desired outcome: Double-check the “reservation” system.
