British Petroleum reviews and complaints 1
View all 122 complaintsBritish Petroleum - poor pump maintenance
This station has been poorly run for over a year now. Every time you go in, 3 to 4 pumps are out of order, there is no receipt paper for pay at the pump transactions. Now the latest, when I insert my bpcard the message comes on "see attendant". The attendant who doesn't speak english, wants to hold onto the card until you are through pumping gas, but you first must give the amount you wish to purchase.
Since I always fill my tank, I don't know an amount.
When you do find someone to complain to, the answer is always "we're new owners, it will be fixed next week" next week has never come.
All other brand stations I patronize still have pay at the pump convenience - and it is showing at this station, as there are always very few customers anymore.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

GLOBAL BOYCOTT of BP Gas Stations
A GLOBAL Boycott has been started
To Close Down BP Franchises due to
rude service, ripoffs, bad gas,
and alleged fraudfulent charges,
In 1776 we kicked the British out of the United
States over some teabags. In 2011 we can do it
over their bad manners and other ripoffs.
As consumers, collectively, we pay the salaries
of every BP employee, OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS..
In return, we get a company that RIPS US OFF,
pollutes our Gulf of Mexico, destroys our
environment, kills our defenseless wildlife, and
INSULTS EACH OF US who pays their bills.
Then they buy off our elected officials with promises
they don't keep to clean up their mess, until the heat
dies down...Then back to business as usual.
ARE WE ALL THAT STUPID?
FIGHT BACK. KICK BP OUT.
Here is how.
This will take a little work on your part but here
is how to make an effective protest, hit BP hard in the
pocketbook and COST THEM BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN LOST
SALES with minimum effort on your part.
A. Write a polite letter stating your complaint
TO THE STORE MANAGER...THIS WILL BE IGNORED.
DONT WORRY.
B. State you are joining the GLOBAL BOYCOTT OF
BP STATIONS.

D. Send email copies of your letters to your friends.
ask them to send to 10 friends. Ask them to ask
their friends to pass it on.
This will start a chain reaction of at least 10 to the
10th power...which is more than the population of
the earth. SOMEONE WILL NOTICE.
E. Add your comments. Get them in Facebook
and Twitter. Send copies of this to your friends.
Ask everyone to pass it on.
F. JOIN THE GLOBAL BOYCOTT. It's cheap, easy,
effective. SHUT BP DOWN.
about 8.25am sunday 5th june. at the bp service station 364 the ridge, hastings. i ended up having to go to hospital with a lpg freeze burn to my hand after using a dodgy lpg pump at one of your bp service station. i managed to fill up in the correct way but when i went to release the pump trigger for the nozzle, it sprayed lpg directly on my hand. so i immediately gripped the trigger again to stop the leak and waved to the attendant for help, when the chap from the kiosk came he said he'd switched the pump off and it was ok to let go, so i did and got another blast on my hand again, so i gripped the trigger again to stop the leak. he went back inside and got some gloves and managed to force the nozzle from my vehicle. i'm not very happy at all.
