Notified by one of my banks that an unauthorized credit inquiry took place on May 19,2024.
After researching my accounts, I conclude that I might be a victim of identity theft. Called institution that made the unauthorized inquiry and got no information about the inquiry (uncooperative). Checked Experian to confirm that inquiry was performed as stated.
Desired outcome: Provide additional information related to this inquiry. Close any credit or financial transactions that occurred as a result of this inquiry. Make victim whole and refrain from filling negative credit reports about the victim.
