We purchased Tripoli power recliners (2) on October 25, 2020. The chairs were delivered on November 27, 2020. The chairs were making a very loud noise in the springs on both and cracking noises. We immediately reported this to service and and asked for new chairs. We were denied new chairs and were told we needed a service repair person to come out and assess the issues with the noisy chairs. A repair person came to our home on 12/15/2020 and he took pictures of the springs which looked really old and ordered new springs and there was a crack in the panel control side on one of the chairs. Parts were ordered and when they arrived we had an appointment in February but that was delayed because of snow; we were moved to March 9, 2021. The repair person came out replaced the springs but the wrong chair arm was ordered, therefore he had to re-order the chair arm and we noticed a small tear in the back of the chair so new material was ordered for that as well. The new parts finally arrived on April 8. We contacted service to schedule an appointment and we were told June 1 or June 8 were the only dates available. We have vacation plans on June 1 that cannot be changed and my husband has a medical procedure on June 8 that we cannot change either. No other dates were given. Spoke with a manager on April 9th also and was informed we could possibly get compensation for these chairs. We were told to call back in June and try to reschedule. It has been almost 5 months and we have defective chairs which is not acceptable. We would like our money refunded for the chairs and returned at this point. Not happy with lazy boy service or quality of the chairs. These chairs are the only chairs we have to sit in, in our small living room. See attached pictures of original springs on chairs. These springs are not new on a new chair. Still having squeaky springs with the new springs.
Desired outcome: Chairs returned and refunded.
