McDonald's

My name is Carrie Haynes my daughter Phyllis Barner is 17 years old still in high school and has been working for McDonald at 1540 Broadway Street Toledo Ohio for over a year now And as with any job has had ups and downs of course some her fault which she openly admits to But I am in shock and at utter despair that on 06/11/23 a customer in lobby that loiters there frequently I might add with no problem from management because he is her “friend “or relative I am not sure called her a “[censored] “ and she reported it to management who told her she was not telling the truth so my child then spoke with man who apologized profusely and she was told to clock out and hasn’t been able to return Now I don’t know what kind of person would make a child feel so insulted as to be called such a name and turn around and do the right thing report it to management I returned with her for meeting on 06/14/23 and customer who called name was in lobby loitering still and she was told she had a write up for being insubordinate before so she can comeback Friday because he needs more information I was in total dismay for my child to have to be treated in this situation with utter disregard for her as a human being working for a corporation that totally disregard her as a person I am shocked that we no longer regard are employees with respect for they can lose their job for doing what is correct and considered insubordinate for reporting it to a boss I am writing this complaint but I am ashamed that my child ever had to even be put through this situation and I am looking to speak with a lawyer to find out what I can do to make sure this kind of thing doesn’t happen to any other 17 year old employed by this corporation I truly hope that this is not how a billion dollar corporation treats there underage and underprivileged children it is in fact a travesty 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
