First off I want an explanation as to why staff/manager is going into my room (not housekeeping or any immediate danger) when NO one is in the room? Per the law: Hotel staff is not allowed to enter your hotel room without your permission. It is a basic rule to always ask for guest consent when entering a hotel room. Hotel staff must inform you they intend to your booked hotel room. Only the cleaning and maintenance service can enter guests’ rooms. That is DEFINITELY a violation of my rights and I have already spoken to my attorney regarding this. SECOND: As of today I have been at the hotel for 14 days. I was given a rate of $80.99 per night and my calculations is that I should have paid $1133.86 so far. I have been charged $2253.12 (NOT including the $100 fee) Please explain being charged $1119.26 over the quoted rate? Even with me staying until Saturday 7.1.23 the total should only be $1376.83 which again is a difference of $876.29. So please explain to me why I've been overcharged for my entire stay? THIRD: I have my certification letter that my daughters bunny and my cat are BOTH emotional support animals, and again manager told me that was NOT allowed (another violation of my rights). Who trains these people? The manager (Kim) at that location should definitely NOT be working with the public as she is very rude! FOURTH: Room keys have to be reprogrammed multiple times per week as they stop working (how does this happen so much)? I have yet to receive any sort of receipt for all of the payments I have made (which is what prompted me to file this complaint as things have seemed sketchy since we checked in). Multiple electrical sockets in our room do NOT work, cook tops don't work properly, sink faucet is jacked up, toilet is jacked up. I know this isn't a 5 star hotel, but come on! And lastly, the safety of this place is CRAZY! I have seen multiple drug deals in the parking lot, rocks are used to keep doors propped open for people who don't have keys (or are too lazy to get their key re-programmed) which is putting me and EVERYONE else in this hotel in danger! You definitely needs to step up your game!
Desired outcome: I want to be compensated for the violations of my rights, I want the total of my stay to be corrected immediately, and I want the staff to be re-trained on how to treat customers.
