CVS Pharmacy - Tiogue Avenue, Coventry RI
I called this CVS to find out if they filled my husbands insulin. He went there two days prior and they said they needed to call the doctor for authorization.
I spoke with someone in the pharmacy named "Karen", who insisted a 3 month supply of his medication was picked up at another location June 28, 2021.
I assured her that we did not pick up a three month supply there and asked her if was confusing his regular insulin with the blocker he takes. She stated, "I know what he takes". I continued to convey to her that we did not pickup a prescription at that location. "Well, maybe you misplaced the pens". I assured her I am responsible with medication and that my husband was completely out of insulin and he needed it. She stated we could buy it for $1000 a box since the insurance company wasn't paying for it two months early.
AGAIN, I told her we didn't get any prescription.
She was rude, and basically was saying I misplaced the medication and should go look for it.
I hung up on her and called the other pharmacy she claims filled it. They stated it was never filled and transferred it back to that CVS on June 28, 2021. Hence the mix-up.
Instead of "Karen" helping a customer get to the bottom of their problem, she chose to bully me into thinking I was wrong! (when it was them).
This is NOT the first time I've made a complaint to corporate regarding this CVS. They never answer the phone. The lines are out to the street. They are rude and ignorant.
I threatened to transfer my medications to Walgreens last time this happened. I am transferring them now.
This is HORRIBLE customer service and relations!
I want a response or I am going to the press and social media.
Desired outcome: I want to speak with someone from CVS Corporate Office AND I want the pharmacy in this store put on probation.

That's not true "They only listen to white men" Racist statement. They don't listen to anybody and I am a white middle-aged man.
CVS will not listen to women. We don't matter. Next time take your husband with you. They ONLY listen to men.
I think the issue is that because you are underaged they cannot give you the insulin.
No, it doesn't matter, women are not listened to! She's over 21.
CVS hates people of color, Jews, Muslims, women and disabled. Healthy white MEN get all the perks and help.
