The past two times frequenting at the dekalb McDonald’s the service has not been much service at all. The first time about a week ago there was a line in the drive thru took about 7-8 minutes to pull up to ordering screen. I waited nearly 5 minutes and had to say hello before someone spoke on the intercom. There were no other cars in front of me at this point, everyone had paid and been gone for several minutes. I asked why it took so long and said it was understaffed cause of graduation. Okay, fine. I pay get to the pickup window and my order is sitting there on the counter. The guy is making drinks. I sat at the pickup window for another 5 minutes while this guy is just looking at the monitor. At one point he turns around puts a straw in my bag then turns back around to make more drinks. Then takes the sweet tea drum to the back for a minute comes back and starts making more drinks. It was my feeling this guy had a chip on his shoulder and wanted to make me wait for whatever reason, not going to even fathom why. When I finally got my bag I said it took you a few minutes didn’t it. He just closes the window nothing said. Second time was yesterday around 7ish, same guy same situation, intentionally making me wait to get my order. Was nearly 4 minutes this time, the bag just sitting there. I won’t eat at this restaurant anymore. Can’t help but feel this was a spiteful young man that got kicks out of it.
Desired outcome: Take that guy out of the pickup window or off the payroll in general. He’s obviously having issues with customer service and the meaning of it.
