Allstate Insurance - employee communication/delays/independent adjusters for hail damage

1. Monday, June 17th call to inform my agent we would be using local roofing company. Did not want to use one of these numbers you see on the side of the road! Dolly's Roofing of Seneca, SC.

2. Dolly's Roofing came out on Monday June 19th to look at my roof. I called my agent and spoke with April. April stated she would put in the paperwork and Allstate would call to set up the inspection date for their people. My Allstate Claim is [protected].

3. I believe Monday June 24th Allstate called to set up date for instection. Inspection was scheduled for Friday June 28th. Hancock company called Thursday June 27th to confirm the inspection date for Friday June 28th.

4. Day of inspection Hancock arrived and took approximately 75 pictures, measured the inside and outside demintions. Took pictures of our metal shed also. Hancock was at my house for approximatel 1 1/2 hrs.

5. Wednesday July 3rd I received a voice mail from Wayne Brown from Allstate to return his call at 504-655-1839. I was on vacation during this time. I called back and left Wayne a message on July 4th.

6. On Thursday, July 4 at 10 am I received a call from Hancock to schedule another inspection. On Friday July 4th at 3:32 received another voice message from Hancock to schedule inspection. I'm on vacation remind you. On Friday July 5th another voice mail to schedule inspection.

7. Wayne Brown left me a voice message on July 5th at 12:41 letting me know he was returning my call. A second call from Wayne Brown at 12:46 PM stating the following: vocie message transcription - "hey Mr. Tecson this is Wayne Brown. Basically I was trying to give you an update on your claim. The inspector that came out did not obtain the measurements of the roof because he thought we could get measurements of the rood by satalite to get the measurements, unfortunately we were not able to get a satalite image of the roof. Therefore I have requested him to come out and get the measurement for us. As soon as I get this information I will have the information to complete your claim. Just wanted to give you an update on your claim and what's going on. You should hear shortly to come back out from Hancock claims to take a look at your roof and get measurements".

8.On Saturday July 6th I get a voice message from Hancock Claims wanting to set up a roof inspection...roof inpection? I thouht is was only measurements needed. I called and set up inspection for Friday July 12th.

9. Wayne Brown call and left message that he had talked with Hancock and understood our inspection was set for Friday the 12th.

10. I received a text message from Hancock adjuster at 6:59 PM, he did the first inspection to confirm coming out on Friday at 11 AM. I text back and stated sure see you then. At 7:13 PM stating he would like to come out at 10 AM instead of 11 AM. I was in agreement.

11. Friday Morning at 9:52 AM I texted the Hancock agent about the inspection today. He stated, "Yes, Allstate said they would reach out to you. That's all they said." I was upset to say the least.

12. I called my agent to file a complaint. April stated she could escalate this to their conplaint system. Shorty, Allstate called me to set up another inspection date. (now I changed my schedule to be at my home on this Friday for inspection). I told this lady I would like to file a complaint.

13. She transfered me to Mari Jenkins, 610-251-3615(direct number) I explained the above. She stated she would call Wayne to find out what was going on. She call me back at approximately 1:42 letting me know that she had called Wayne Brown and his Manager to get in touch with me on what is going on.

14. Wayne called and stated his manager requested he call me to give an update. I asked Wayne who canceled the inspection. He had no idea and that he would call Hancock to find out. I could tell he was frustrated as I was on getting this inspection completed. I ended up rescheduling another inspection for Monday 15th.

15. The Hancock inspector came and I asked him why is he here and he stated all he knows is they (Allstate) requested another inspection on my roof and do not send the last inspector but someone different.

16. I am very concerned that the first inspector gave a positive evaluation for the hail damage and Wayne Brown didn't like the results and requested a second inspection by a different inspector...I feel he did not tell me the truth in who cancelled the Friday inspection.

17. All this said, another day waisted and another Hancock inspector to come and do the exact same pictures and measurements that the first inspector did. I feel I am being singled out and that the ovious damage is trying to be down played for refusing the claim.

18. I have been a loyal client since 1975!

19. I am taking pictures now of what the second adjuster took and will follow up.
