This company, or one of its subsidiaries, charged me inactivity fees while I was waiting for a replacement card. Despite it being impossible to use a card I was not in possession of, they felt comfortable claiming the 'terms and conditions agreement' justified the charges. It is virtually impossible to get any satisfaction from customer service, and there seems to be a network of various departments designed to make getting any real assistance as difficult as possible.
Desired outcome: Mainly posting so other customers know what to expect. To many other options out there to continue maintaining a relationship with a suspect organization that has zero concern for customers.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
MetaBank - Fraudulent activity
Meta Bank/Money Network refuses to release my deposited money from savings to primary account. This has been on going 4 days now.
My direct deposit is sitting in a "savings account" which the bank will not release to my primary. They keep stating that they do not have access to release funds from savings to primary. I have been attempting to log into the bank's website and mobile application, however the account is not recognizing my information due to a technical problem they are having on the bank's end. As I was told by a Supervisor, they have been having issues with their website and Mobile application for several weeks now and I am amongst several who have not been able to access their savings account to pull money to primary.
Due to this issue I have not been able to pay my rent (I have gotten an eviction notice), my car payment has not been able to deduct from account, IRS and other payments have been delayed due to this issue as well.
I have called several times and have spoken to several supervisors. Each supervisor has stated that there is no manager there to assist me to give approval to release the funds from saving to primary. Technical support has not responded with any updates. This issue is not getting resolved because no one has direct contact with technical support only by email. Direct managers are unavailable and sweeping this issue under the rug. My money is sitting in this bank and can not be touched because they are irresponsibly not able to move money or advance money to the primary account. My money is being held hostage by this bank and I cannot physically go into this bank because it is a merchant bank.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
