Dairy Queen

I went to dairy queen in Alvarado TX on Wednesday September 6th around 10pm. I pulled up to the drive thru to order and I asked them before I ever ordered how long it would be to order a 4 pc steak finger combo because I did not have time to wait and if they would have said I had to wait at all I wouldn't have ordered anyways the girl said they already had some cooked and ready so I went ahead and ordered my 4 pc steak combo with a strawberry limeade. I pull up to the window they told me $12.11 was my total and I paid and then they asked me to pull forward to the stop sign and would bring my food right out. Well if they were already cooked and ready I didn't understand why I had to pull up at all, but I don't like confrontation or to be rude so I pull up. I end up waiting over 10mins for my food and I was still polite never said a word or complained to them. Well I work right across the street so a 45 second drive I get to work open my food and go to take a bite of a steak finger and it's cold and hard just not fresh at all disgusting actually and you would think since they made me wait 10 mins after already saying I wouldn't have to that my food would at least be hot and fresh. Yea it definitely was not my fries were Luke warm at best and I also added the taco for a dollar and it was pretty much just grease. The whole meal and experience was just poor. Definitely won't be going back

Ordered two hunger busters and large fries, asked to pull forward to wait on the order, did so, waited more than seven min., nothing . Got out of the car and returned to the window, when it was opened, there were two young ladies chit chatting with my order on the counter behind them, gettiong quite cold. This is the second visit in a row that my order wasn't properly fixed. The last time the buns were not toasted and the whole burger was cold, requiring a period in the microwave at home. the store is only 1/2 mi. from home and that definitely was not a factor!
