We purchased 2 recliners from a dealer in Austin TX. The entire experience was not good to begin with but I wanted what I assumed at the time to be a top quality product. It is now clear to me that they are relying on their brand name because quality is clearly not a priority with this company any more. The chairs arrived and my disabled father was not enthusiastic about his chair as he complained that the chair is too high, too stiff, and the leg support is short and cuts into the bottom of his leg braces. I can verify that the chair is like sitting on hardwood patio furniture, so the too stiff statement is accurate. I called the store within the first 2 weeks, and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I was told to give it time and it would get more comfortable. I told him to give it a chance and it should break in making it more comfortable. Several months passed and he still has the same complaints, so much so that he has stopped using the chair. I again tried calling the store who now informed me that they have a 10 day return window. I was most likely within that 10 day window the first time I called.
Desired outcome: Trade in for something that is usable. Or a refund to purchase something he is able to use.
