Trader Joe's

The captain there abuses her position and power. Fires over made up outrage. Mates lie and hold personal vendettas. One is even verbally abusive with constant swearing to employees. I was fired over made up crap because of a text my spouse (who didn't work there) sent to a employee. Mates over saw it and boom, I'm fired. Some made up outrage from 6 months earlier. This was after I had a glowing review which I always had for six years. Apparently there was no issue during my review. I reported to a mate, a fellow employee who repeatedly called me a white supremist and nothing happened. Store 401 in Texas is filled with sexual humor comments from mates and even the captain. The captain and mates hang out privately with specific employees and from what I understand that's against company policy due to favoritism. Which runs rampant at 401. Complaints are ignored by the captain if it's someone she likes. Disgusting sexual comments. My wife did work there for a short time with me and I overheard these comments. She was not working there when she sent the text I got fired over. Everything was fine for me until after that point then everything turned 180. Perfect timing huh? You better check the 401 store because it's run by a vindictive captain and the mates are expected to follow suit. Which they gladly do
