My daughter in law was applying for a job. She had talked with the manager several times and finally he decided on a date and time for the interview. She went at the appropriate time, treated him and right away he stated he couldn't hire her. She asked why and he said because she has a tattoo. Now this tattoo is very little. It's on her wrist and could easily be covered by a bandaid, if needed. The real reason is she is 5 months pregnant. He looked her up and down. It was very disgraceful to say the least. It lasted as a handshake and no further interview! I think this is very tacky. A waste of her time and you totally humiliated her. I say he owes her an apology and I would like to see in writing where it states about tattoos. I am also reporting this to the employees equal rites board. Everyone deserves to be treated fair. I'm sure he just didn't want to train her and then she has the baby and is off for awhile. Whatever the reason it was a poor showmanship for a manager.
