I pulled into the Take 5 oil change this morning around 11am with my wife and 3 kids for a quick oil change. I have had issues at this location in the past but have overlooked them in an attempt to not have to go elsewhere. There were 3 vehicles including mine. A small clean cut young man came up and I told him I just wanted an oil change. He said ok and had me pop the hood. I waited for 20 minutes while a red vehicle sat in the center bay. During this time another small white car pulled up behind me and he had them pull into the car right bay for servicing. Finally after 20 minutes he had me pull into the center bay. I then sat there another 10 minutes while he stood next to another technician working on a vehicle in the left bay. Finally my kids were becoming restless so I asked him to shut my hood and said I would go somewhere else because it’s been 30 minutes and they haven’t even touched my truck. He said fine and angrily started guiding me out and said I should be able to wait 2 more minutes. I told him they’re advertised as a 5 minute oil change. He then started shouting profanities at me which my wife and kids all heard. He then said “5 minutes is only for 5 quarts buddy!” I didn’t engage him and just drove away. This type of customer service and behavior is completely outrageous and unacceptable! Nobody deserves to be treated this way. I will never step foot in this establishment again and will be sure to spread this experience with everyone that I know. This “man” should be ashamed of himself.
Desired outcome: This employee should be terminated and taught that you cannot go through life reacting this way to people especially while at work dealing with customers.
