Petco

We just got home from visiting your store in Mansfield Texas. Right next to the front door was a kiosk supporting some form of "Stop The Bullying" campaign. As we passed this by when we left your store (they were busy when we went in), one of the young men approached and started his appeal. I told him we were not interested. He immediately changed his demeanor and looked at us like we were beneath contempt. I would encourage Petco to ensure those they allow to beg for donations in front of their stores to respect those they are attempting to take money from. It's not a little ironic that these "stop bullying" guys seemed to resort to disrespect/anger for anonymous passers-by when they aren't able to get one to let go of their lunch money.
Please don't allow this group space outside your stores. This whole "Stop Bullying" movement is, I'm sure, well intended. But honestly, of all the groups I've read about pushing this line (which sounds great on its surface) their usually more interested in racial and/or gender issues than putting an end to actual school yard bullying for all.
