WinCo Foods - Manager is disrespectful

Today, 2/01/22 I went into store #0122 on 1800 North Graves St. in Mckinney, Tx. They had a managers special on the Winco brand Mac N Cheese for $0.28 per box. I grabbed 3 cases, as there’s no limit sign. The manager walked by me and told me not to clean him out, with what looks like a smile underneath his face mask. I thought he was making a joke and I laughed it off and told him I’d try not to. He stopped and raised his voice, and walked back to me and said that he was serious and not to clean out his shelves all over his store and not to take anymore than I had already had. Dumbfounded, I looked at him and told him I wasn’t. He was so embarrassingly loud, that 3 other shoppers behind and in front of me stopped and turned around to see what the ordeal was. First off, are you kidding me? What kind of manager talks so disrespectfully to it’s customers? Secondly, I shouldn’t have to explain myself or why Winco brands store is profiting off of my hard earned dollars… With that being said, I have a family of 7. If we’re not making sides with dinners, it easily takes our family 3 boxes of Mac n Cheese for a dinner. One case of Mac n Cheese is 8 nights worth of dinners for my family of 7. When I do my grocery shopping, I do it for the month, not per meal. We’re not always in the best situation financially and a meal item for $0.28 is all that we can literally afford right now. I was also grabbing a case for a lady down the street from me who donates to the local churches for those who cannot afford groceries. Shame on me! Right? I took a photo of the managers sale and how many cases of Mac n Cheese was available. I was not cleaning the store out. I wasn’t taking it all and leaving other shoppers with none. There was tons of Mac N Cheese available, and they put more out after I took my cases and took this photo. This managers response, demeanor and the way he talked to me was disrespectful and unprofessional! I have never had a grocery store make me feel so embarrassed in my life.

Desired outcome: Manager needs to learn how to speak with people professionally and if he doesn’t want someone taking 3 cases of Mac n Cheese, then he needs to learn to write limits on his signs.
