Denny's - The entire service

On 4/25/2023, at 7:30 we walked into the restaurant, we were a party of ten. Of course, we understand that takes servers some time to get situated. All ten of us work in a restaurant so we all know how things go, we had no intention of trying to be worrisome or difficult knowing we are a big group, and most places are short staffed. Although there was only one table of two other people in the entire restaurant we sat a few minutes afterwards, our drinks took over twenty minutes to get and were made incorrectly, when we finally were able to order food, it took over an hour, again we try to be understanding because of being a big group but were the only ones in the restaurant at this point. Half of our food sat in the hot window as we watched the cook fling our plates up there, when it finally started arriving it came in plates of one, none of our items came out together on one plate. My friend ordered her food at the same time we all did and hers didn't come out until an hour and half had passed, by then she just didn't want it, 10 minutes later the last person in our group was served by slamming plates down in front of her, for what reason we don't know. We never received our appetizers, never got an i'm sorry, didn't bother letting us know how long things would take. We see several people come in and out of the back who definitely seemed like managers, at this point I asked to speak to one, the server than decides to say she is the manager as well. Cool except I know managers don't work hourly and make cash tips that's not how this works. Never once did we get checked on, refills, asked how anything was, we had to walk up just to ask for things we wanted with our dish. One our friends has a cheese allergy and specifically asked for none, it was the only thing that filled up her omelet. Again, only table in the restaurant. When she finally comes over, its explained to her about how crappy our service has been, that we all work in the same industry and we know this isn't how it goes, all she had to say was "what do you want me to do", I can't take the whole check off, we already know that, but not an apology, not a let me do something about your check, free app, something as far as making the guest not have this situation, nothing. It's said by someone else that they want a discount she says okay "yall come to the front" the man upfront proceeds to say he isn't cashing us out, as she says she is getting us cause she "doesn't know what the [censored] is going on" girl we do, this is a crappy service, with a crappy meal to match. My friend was told he would get his appetizers for free because they never even came out even when he asked and was still charged for them. We know people have rough days, we know staff being short sucks, we do it every day but we still don't ever do our customers the way this staff handled us.
