Ruth's Chris Steak House

01-18-20 Reservation were made at 6:00pm. This visit was suppose to be a special occasion for my wife's 56th birthday dinner. We both ordered the filet mignon well done with Cesar salads and mash potatoes and side of broccoli. I purchased a very expensive bottle of red wine to celebrate this night out. We got our salads then our dinner. Both of our mash potatoes were cold not even warm, we ended up putting our mash potatoes on the hot steak plate to warm it up and continued to eat our steaks and found that they had over cooked the steaks so badly it was chard burnt to the point the meat was really hard. I was not happy with the steaks and can't believe it was even served this way. The manager took off our meals and only charged us our drinks and deserts. After we departed from the restaurant we started to feel sick, got home miserable and had stomach pains. My wife and I spent the rest of the night in the bathroom throwing up with diarrhea. We are very upset and I will be contacting the health department to conduct a full investigation on this matter.
