Rite Aid - pharmacy

I received a total thyriodectomy & had my Rx filled at Rite Aid. My husband picked up my Rx. But two of my Rx'd medicines weren't there. So I called. They told me those are meds can be picked up OTC. I asked if they though that was something they needed to share with their customers instead of leaving them with nothing. Problem was I needed liquid Tylenol due to difficulty swallowing. They didn't offer to order any or help at all, just said it's OTC. So I ask if the have adult liquid Tylenol 500mg OTC. They at first say yes, then decide to check & decide they don't. I don't know what to do so I ask if they can just switch the liquid to tablet form. They will need to call my doctor and get back to me. I call back bc I haven't heard anything. They tell me they can switch it to tabs. So my husband goes back to pick up these horse pills and OTC tums bc they wouldn't fill that since it's OTC. They tell him again these things are available OTC. But that's not my husbands job to figure out. And if that's the case the pharmacist should have informed him of this when he initially picked it up. My MIL being a nurse went to Bartell's to explain how I can't take these big pills & needing a liquid Rx for Tylenol. This pharmacist told her to have me take Children's Tylenol in liquid form and double the dose to 30mL every 6 hours. I have been going to this Rite Aid for over 20 years. In the last 3 years I've received Rx without measuring devices for the meds. I've been given not enough meds. It's terrible. I really think some quality control needs to be done. I also believe the pharmacist and technicians working December 21st in the afternoon need to find new careers. It is unacceptable.
