To whom it may concern,
I purchased a mattress during your fourth of July Sale at the following location:3299 NW Randall Way Ste 113, Silverdale, WA 98383
The sales person my family dealt with was Cheryl, she was the store manager at this location. Cheryl had provided a quote for me at the begining of the sale. She was very pleasant to work with. She was knowledgeable and really knew how to give my wife and I space with our children as we tried to reach a consensus as to which mattresss would best suit our needs. Cheryl gave us options and we actually bought the one she reccomended.
During this time she mentioned how her store prides itself in providing the military with the best with providing discounts in which was applied to the delivery. I explained how we lived on base and she said she understood but they may need an escort worse case scenario. She also mention there would atleast be a two hour window for delivery. So after all that was discussed my wife and I said we would return July 4th to make the purchase. After the purchase she said the earliest delivery can be made on Saturday, 5th of July.
I assured I would be available in the case I needed to escort them because my wife is currently pregnant with our other two children and I didn't want her to have to deal with any issues. I received a text to confirm the appointment and I received a call and they (Matthew Flores) told me that they didn't realize it was on base and didn't have the proper identification even if I escorted them onto base. I called Cheryl, she said she would contact the driver (not sure did she got a hold of them) but I was informed by Cheryl that I would not receive the delivery until monday ended up having to reschedule the delivery date to Monday because it couldn't be rescheduled until the truck returned to the warehouse.
Again, I made sure I could get the time off to alleviate any inconvenience to my wife. I receive the call on Monday from an automated call stating they would arrive in 30 minutes and after 15 minutes I receive another call from the driver stating the same issues of how they can not come onto the military installation due to lack of indentification. So I requested they meet me at the location where the mattress was purchased where we met with another very understanding sales representative Dena, Cheryl was off. I explained my situation to Dena and she assured it would be taken care of. It comes out that only the driver can come onto base given that he is the only one with proper identification. Dena proposed he deliver the mattress alone, but with my assistance with dismantling and assembling my purchase. I explained that I paid for delivery, which is a luxury I paid for. She understood and she would reimburse me the delivery fees and take a hundred off the price of the mattress.
Although I feel that Dena did her best to make the situation right I did want to let you know as a first time customer what my experience was. Going forward I will not make future purchases with you all due to this experience and hope that the customer service or delivery process maybe improved by sharing my experience.
