To who it may concern,
On May 15, 2009, I went to your Follansbee location to inquire about a letter that I needed for a H.U.D review. I asked to speak with the manager named Twyla. When I told her that all I needed was a letter stating that I no longer work there. she said that the person in charge of the H.U.D program would have to submit a letter to her. When I told her that I needed the letter by next week, she started to belittle me, not only in front of the staff but also in front of other customers. Then I asked to speak with the owner, she said that that she was the manager and that I left the job without notice. Which in fact the owner Karen and I spoke the day we both decided that it was for the best for myself to leave because of health reasons. Then Twyla started ranting and raving something I could not understand by the cooking station. Finally, Karen came up and I explained what I needed and went to the back office to write me up what I needed and the whole time Twyla is fuming and still telling Karen that I had no right to go over her head, that she was in charge and I needed to go through her. All the while, as I was standing up by the counter, I saw other customers rolling their eyes and the tirad.
Not only was this embarassing to me and the other customers, but the tone she used with me, in front of the other customers was needless to say humilating to me.
So as of today, I and my family will never go o the Follansbee West Virginia McDonalds ever again, which is sad because I love McDonalds food, but with managment like that, I will never have the trust that I once had.
