Why is SingTel helping VedeTV to charged me for something I didn't subscribe too? I also do not know what VedeTV is and yet I find it absurb that Singtel fraudulently help VedeTV to charge me! I want a refund and I want VedeTV Blocked!
I received messages from 7113 8 as follows:

I could not believe SingTel collaborate with VedeTV to fraudulantly charged me. I have today called 1688 to stop further charges and was informed that SingTel doesn't know what is VedeTV. How then SingTel charges its customer for an unknown 3rd Party billing?

I didn't subscribe Vedetv we received the Sms. We called 1688 to rectify they said we clicked on the link which is ridiculous n they advised us to make police report in order to get the refund. We felt really stupid for that response from them. Make police report then refund us the money.

Government also ask us not to click on unknown sms due to Spam.
Yes my bill showed added charges for VedeTV and Mini me..which is ridiculous. They told me it's scam also and was asked to cal them myself to unsubscribe. I told them I will only pay for what I subscribed as usual. How can Singtel allow 3rd party to ride on customer account.
You will need to activate this PRS barring service from singtel which I did. As I was a victim too scam from VEDETV and contacted singtel on this and the online staff ask me if I will like to activate this service which will not allow third party content subscriptions wherein the line is being used to be the bill on behalf of the offer.

My wife also subscribed to the service without paying attention. The message that was received by us clearly stated that there will be a charge of $10 but my wife did not pay attention to it.
However, I was advised to contact Vedetv support and check if I can be refunded.
The Vedetv support team responded to my email last Monday by approving the full refund and also blocked my number so that my wife does not activate it again.
