Verona18 review: F1B Goldendoodle

I happen to buy the sweetest little boy from Verona18, this happened on Saturday 11/19/2022 . The posting said up to date on everything. Well in under a few hours he threw up a hand towl (wash cloth), which she knew he got into it and never mentioned it to me when I was there in person. Then his breathing was very abnormal. Along with his urine output. Well the only way I could get him seen was by emergency vet hospital. Turns out the poor baby boy was battling an infection that started before I bout him. It's a bladder infection and since it was going on for so long it started eating away at his bladder liner. He's also got a terrible yeast infection in his ears. Added to that at roughly 16 weeks old he was very under weight. Only weighing in at 13lbs. I contacted the breeder, Verona18 about what was going on and she wants him back. Well I can tell you this, he is NOT going back to a home where he's going to be getting these infections. The veterinarian doctor was so happy I brought him in because he wouldn't of lasted till the date I could of gotten him in, which wasn't till January. This poor boy in under a week has been/still is going thru so much. She shouldn't be aloud to breed anymore if this is what's going on. I tried calling the clinic she took him too and they would not give me anything on the poor boy. Kept trying to get me established with a vet before I got any answers. I know owning a dog can cost lots of money but I shouldn't have to fork out $500 in emergency vet bills and $600 dollars for him, so in total $1100 in less than a week. I'm so happy I trusted my instincts and took him in or other wise this sweet little boy would of been on an early death bed. I just hope the 5 or 6 other puppies that are/were there are going to be okay and have been made aware of my puppies situation. I'm still fighting to get some kind of compensation out if this. But again he is not going back to a home where he's more than likely not gonna improve in health.
