As a previous employee of Dr. Savas, I've gotten to know her and what goes on in her practice. She is extremely disorganized. She needs to be audited. Documents deemed as "important" get filed into a folder in no specific order. There is no method to even make sure these documents get filed. Her laptops are outdated and employees are expected to contact tech support when having issues. Of course this will hinder your productivity, and of course she wont give a damn and will huff and puff when work isn't getting done (due to the dysfunctioning laptop). She will make you create math worksheets for her kid during the work day. She will walk through the office every morning and not say hello or smile. The minute she needs a favor from you she will treat you like a queen. She is extremely understaffed & will expect you to finish all your work but get angry if you stay extra hours (bc shes cheap and doesn't want to pay you). I couldn't take a day off without it being a burden because theres noone to cover. I was expected to wing billing, draw patients blood after being given a 1 minute explanation of how to, and when I put in my 2 weeks, she guilt tripped me into stay longer (by getting emotional and telling me her personal problems). I stayed an extra few weeks and even after my last day she called me on the weekend to beg me to come back for a day. I kindly declined and she hung up. The way she treats her employees is telling of her character. I would NEVER trust this woman to care for anyone in my family. She is a penny pincher, condescending, rude, fake, and selfish. Noone should treat people the way she treats people. As a provider, she is likely to put on a happy, seemingly kind front but she has a very ugly side to her. When I interviewed with her I thought she was great. She is very manipulative. After switching jobs and meeting other doctors, I've heard negative things about her before I even mention my experience. The point of this is not to criticize her, but more so to share my experience for other prospective employees/patients. She made me (and others) feel like the [censored] on the bottom of her shoe when I worked for her and I took it to heart as it was one of my first jobs. Now I know how other doctors operate and there is something very very wrong with her. So if you're working for her, I hope this helps you. Same goes for if you're a patient of hers and are having doubts, its probably her and not you. God bless.
