The owner of this business, Thor Johnsen has a civil judgement against him for over $1000 for deceptive advertising and breach of contract. He has not paid this court judgement and is in default and subject to arrest. To date, 11/11/2008 he has ignored the court.

I repeat, DO NOT trust him nor buy from this company or any of his susidiaries including Viking Enterprises. He has many complaints against him at the Better Business Bureau for similar things. Dont let this happen to you!

He agreed to refund my money then kept delaying until the 60 day credit card complaint period ended and then he said he wouldnt. Hes a snake...be careful. He has disregarded me and the court that ordered him to pay a judgement.

The fact that Thor Johnsen of Marble Classics, Viking Enterprises, etc... is in court default and subject to arrest has clearly shown his stand in the issues. He has no respect for the courts and certainly has no respect for the consumer. He was court ordered to refund my money and that award was tripled because the court not only believed my complaint but wanted to make it clear to Thor that his behavior was unacceptable under consumer law.

Now, Thor pleads with potential consumers to trust his side of the story. The court didnt believe his arguments. Furthermore, he comes on here and offers discounts to appease you. Trust me, I was supposed to get my discount and never did from him, I called several times and got the run around! And this was before the the other disputes even took place. See the picture now? Hes ripped off others. Just look online and you will see, call the BBB in Canoga Park and you will see for yourself. My advice is to look elsewhere so you can avoid the problems and the stories Thor comes up with. Hes the true run around sue in sheeps clothing!

Responce to Ken Alden and the real facts!

As most of you who have seen this [redacted] from this individual please notice that he reports the same duplicate report over and over about every two weeks making it seem like our company and my self as an individual has multiple different reports. We need to get the facts straight as this person has decided to go after a personal vendetta way beyond any normal customer service or expiations form a customer and business transaction and product order.

Ken Alden ordered a custom made column that we have to make specifically to their specifications to the faux finish, color and texture they desire. This order was proceed on 11/08/2006 two years ago. We do not manufacture or make any of these statues until they are ordered by the client and is custom art. The product this person ordered was an ionic angel column that was hand pained by our artists with our classic marble gray-white finish. We proceeded to make his piece and ship it to him as directed. Just for the record, this statue column sells for $278.00 plus shipping to the customers location for a cost of $64.80 and a total of $342.80. This amount please keep in mine as we explain the circumstances of this transaction is the original amount for making and shipping the order.

When the statue arrived Ken Alden said it was an inch shorter than it was suppose to be as our statues are measured and each piece may vary a slight amount on dinning table height pieces that range from 30-32". Apparently this was a major problem for Ken and he couldn't accept this column being an inch short!

We agreed to have our craftsmen add more height to the column which required us to have him return the item, have it fabricated, re-finished in the raised area and then ship it back to him. We requested at that time that he must pack the statue as it came, very carefully as these columns are very fragile and it must be bubble rapped and double boxed to protect the piece. Well he sent the column back in a single box with barely any packing material and the column was busted in several pieces and totally destroyed.

When we contacted him in regards to the piece being destroyed he couldn't care less and just wanted us to send another one or his money back. We informed him that we cannot refund money on goods returned damaged or destroyed but would check with FedEx as we insure everything that is shipped out and would send him the funds once they paid the claim. Well, FedEx proceeded to come out and inspect the packaging and the broken statue and told us that they cannot pay for clams when the product was packed improperly with no care what so ever. Also at this point this individual was not taking any responsibility for his actions and proceeded to call our office constantly leaving derogatory and threatening messages, insulting our receptionist with foul mouth language which she documented and became very disturbed. This guy pushed the limits of anyones nerves including the clams personal at Fed Ex which were discussed him with his actions and unruly behavior.

This now became his personal vendetta to spend as much time and effort to demonize myself and our company and cause as much continual drama as possible. At this point it was a matter of principal to stay with our policies as a result of his belligerent behavior. He decided to take it to court in Massachusetts where he lives and sue over the discrepancies. Laws are different in every state as in California where I live you cannot sue anyone in small clams court from out of state as I tried and was going to counter sue. We have all the records of this situation including reports from Fed ex as evidence of this guys actions. In any case I contacted an attorney in his are of Massachusetts and he said that he would need about $3500.00 to defend the case and knew he could win and that I would not have to show up in court as he would represent me. Well great, I would have to pay this amount to fight the case myself, pay for a flight out there from LA plus expenses totaling about that much now way beyond the $342.80 for the cost and shipping of the item. What would you do? I don't have deep pockets to justify this situation even to just make a point and what a huge waste of time an money, it just didn't make since. I made numerous phone calls to the court sending correspondence explaining the situation and what this person was trying to do. The attorney said it would not be worth the money to defend this case or fly across the country and at his point nothing could be done and he would just get a judgment. Well he did and also was awarded 3 time the amount adding up to over $1, 000.00.

This entire situation has been way beyond what most small companies can do to try and satisfy a customer and now has become Ken Alden's personal vendetta and lifes ambition. It's also interesting that he can get away with the slander and name calling and false information in his report. I refuse to waist any more time on this guy and I'm not subject to arrest in Canoga Park as I have checked with local authorities and this is not the case. This is a civil judgment and he knows there is no validity in his statements. This is wrong and if anyone has any drought about our company I will offer a 30% discount on any items purchased, Just mention his name Ken Alden and then please post a comment about your experience with Viking Enterprises and any of our product lines. It's time this guy pays some way for the slander and frustration he has caused!

I know people in this company and there is a 50/50 chance whether or not you will ever get your product. if you are one of the unlucky people who ordered and never received their product, YOU WILL NEVER GET IT. If you try to get your money back, YOU WILL NOT. even if you call every single day you will not get your money back. thor johnson just passes the blame around, doesn't return calls, is bad to his employees, runs a bad business knowingly, and continues to try to screw people. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM OR HIS AFFILIATE COMPANIES. VIKING ENTERPRISES, WINGS IN MOTION/ENTOMON, AFRICAN ART, DRAGON ART WORK OR MARBLE CLASSICS. ALL THE SAME COMPANY AND YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR PRODUCT.

Don't fall victim to Viking Enterprises or any of his affiliate companies (Winging in Motion, Dragon Art, Marble Classics) you will never get your product and no one will answer the customer service number. I ordered the Dragon Chess Board from the Dragon Art Site Nov 20, 2009 through paypal. I found it strange that I received no contact from Viking Enterprises, so I emailed them and called and got no response until i filled out a dispute form on PayPal. This actually got a response out of the company, and I received a polite email as well as had the owner Thor Johnsen called me personally. I found him to be articulate and convincing. DON' BE FOOLED. Its just a stall tactic. At this point it was a week and a half since my order and he told me that they could not release the item from there shipping department until the dispute was closed and a tracking number would be provided in the next few days. I told him that after my purchase and not hearing from them, that I had found these complaint boards and he assured me that his company was legit and that they where striving to have a better reputation. He was so convincing, I closed the dispute. Later found out, once you close a dispute on pay pal you can not open another one, on the same purchase. Which he more than likely knew. Days later, no tracking numbers where received, emailed and emailed, called and no one answers, or returns a call. I knew I would at this point not get a response, unless I did something. So emailed and informed them that I was informing my Credit Union of fraudulent charges on my account. This of course finally got a response hours later. Received a polite email letting me know that tracking numbers would be provided by Friday Dec 4th. And i have to give them some credit, because i actually got the tracking numbers provided to me on December 4th as promised . at this point i was relieved and thought, thank goodness finally. The tracking numbers turned out to be valid, but it only showed that U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper to expect my package for mailing. I waited the 2-5 days, checking the progress of my package. The notification never changed. They had notified the post office of the package, but never gave the package to them. Another stall tactic to keep you waiting, hoping they can prolong things long enough so that you can not dispute the charges on your card. its sad, and pathetic that companies can still get away with this for so long. I felt stupid for not researching before I made my purchase, but I saw the price and thought I would save some money buying it from Viking Enterprises instead of other sites I found the same exact chess board. My mistake, don't let it be yours. Its not worth the time, the stress and the hassle of dealing with this company. Now I need to explain to my son, that his primary Christmas gift will not be under the tree. Even if I order from a reputable company it will not come on time.

We just ordered a chess set from his store that never materialized, so we had the bank reverse the charges and cancel. We called and emailed several times, and the best this scam artist could do was give us a USPS tracking number for our order. We tracked it for a week, and according to the tracking report, OUR PACKAGE NEVER LEFT HIS OFFICE!

He's either an idiot, a thief, or both. Regardless, I wouldn't send him my money on a bet.

I too have fallen victim. I placed an order from Dream Catcher USA and have not seen my merchandise. I am filing a complaint with paypal right now, and I am contacting the Attorney General's office.

Update...I am on the phone with him and he is repeatedly threatening me with bodily harm...and my attorney is sitting with me listening on speaker phone. Who's up for a class action!

I hope to see Thor Johnsen FRY! This bogus company is beyond unbelievable. I too was ripped off - fortunately for only a couple of hundred dollars of my very hard earned money. I've read on the BBB site there are people who have lost alot more than I have.

Thor - grow some nuts between your legs and face up to the fact you rip people off. You rip honest and decent people out of their money. For what purpose? Can't you get a half decent REAL job to earn your income?

I look forward to the day I get to read about you going to jail for your criminal offenses and you get to be the girlfriend of some big guy named Bubba. Karma WILL catch up with you :)

I too have been ripped off 700.00 for item ordered and going on two months no item no refund never answers phone or returns messages the guy is a crook and with all the complaints I don't know how he keeps getting by with it is there no law to protect the consumer wish I had read up on this crook before purchasing from him but talked personally to him when placed order he's a smooth talker and a crooked mother

I wish had read all the bad reviews against Viking Enterprises and this fellow Thor Johnson before i placed an order with them.I also had a terrible experience with this company. This Viking Co. failed to deliver the product I ordered and after several unanswered E-Mails and phone messages the item was finally shipped. When it arrived it was in three pieces and the finished coat dried while it was still dripping. The workmanship was terrible. When we called this fellow Thor Johnson he advised us he would ship another one right out, of course we haven't seen it yet. Now he doesn't answer his phone and are E-Mails go unanswered. Of course he had no problem taking the money. This is by far the worse experience i have ever had doing business over the internet. This fellow Thor Johnson has lied to us and took our money without producing a product ...Which basically constitutes "Theft'. Im telling anyone who might order from this company ...NOT TO. And I will continue to go on every other site and voice my dissatisfaction.

I ordered several more butterflies and dragon flies back in November 2012 that I never received. Once I got an answer, after umteen calls, and Thor said he'd look into it and I still haven't heard back or received my order. They're idiots because they have a unique robotic butterfly product, but they are very stupid business people.

In June 2012, I paid Thor Johnsen $11, 000.00 in 3 instalments to have a statue made. I believe he has deliberately defrauded me, You may ask why I paid all this money without getting my statue, it's like this, he became my best buddy, I was going to visit him in California, he was going to visit me in Australia, we were going to be best buddies for life. When I look back on it he deliberately took advantage of my trust and deliberately seduced me into thinking he was an honest person. I trusted him and he was deliberately stealing my monet with no intent of producing the good

I really wish that I had read all these comments before I had placed a $471.00 order with this company. I ordered a table base at the end of January and I am still waiting for it. They do not answer the phone calls and the few times that I have managed to speak with Thor Johnsen he keeps saying he will check the order and get back to me!. I can not understand why this company has not be stopped. Has anyone every received their goods? I will keep bothering them until they give me an answer. I hope that he will be stopped soon, this is terrible!

I would just like to point here that if Thor Johnson had a court order for his arrest, then how come he hasn't been contacted by the police about such a thing? I work with him and I have been his friend for almost 5 years, and there is NO reason for this supposed fraud that you are all trying to put on him. He is an honest man who is trying to make a living, and all that you are doing is blowing the whole thing out of proportion. Stop with the name calling, because Thor is not going to jail for anything because he is NOT a criminal.

Conor, I know for a fact that Thor takes money and does not provide the goods he has promised. To me, that is a criminal. A thief, to be specific.
