Beware of Virgelia Productions if you want to get into a dignified beauty pageant. This pageant will drain you mentally and financially. If you want to join a pageant for self-development or a noble cause then this place is NOT for you.

Virgelia Productions is good at marketing and showing a grandeur online, cheating people into believing it. The real story is that each participant pays a minimum of $15k to put up this show. The delegate who ends up paying the highest amount wins the crown. Yes, reread the previous sentence because that's the ultimate truth. If you want to challenge, check the total tickets and magazine pages bought by the winners. If you see fewer magazine covers, it's probably because the winner paid more for tickets and accessories.

Cost breakdown: The signup cost is close to $800+ (which doesn't include other things that Virgelia sells you during the sessions). Once you signup, she will force you to buy your delegate crown (cheaply made) and shimmery border for your sash, costing you an additional $800+. When you hesitate and decide to buy an affordable crown, she will tell you how expensive things your competitor is buying. In each session, she will sell you low-quality, highly-priced accessories, which will add up to $100-150/per session. If you don't buy it, remember she is making a note of it. She also forces you to hire her photographer, designer, walk trainer, etc., who are unnecessarily overpriced. Each magazine page is sold for $500. Virgelia only accepts cash payments. Delegates who buy these pages, do not get a receipt. She doesn't provide any tax-related documents to you or your sponsors. The inner page of the magazine is sold for $3000+, and the funniest part is that there are multiple inner pages to the magazine. That means more money for her. Ticket sale is mandatory; if you don't sell enough, you will be treated like a peasant.

From the day you join to the day of the finale, she will put you under pressure by telling you how much your competitors are spending on the pageant to force you to pay more. Unfortunately, women get trapped in this pageant every year because Virgelia removes all negative reviews from the internet to hide her ill-doings.

Japan and India are her top targets. Unfortunately, women participating from these countries somehow fall for her trap and mindlessly end up spending more. She also doesn't respect her delegates. During final sessions, when she is done taking all the money, and nothing is left to exact from you, she puts up drama and tries to put you publicly down.

Another important point to note: None of the rounds, National Costume, Bikini, Evening Gown, and Group Dance, decide the winner. The judges invited don't hold any power in decision-making. It's all in Virginia's hands. The winners are selected in advance based on the total $ amount they spend. The group dance is explicitly designed to sell you her designers dance dress, sandals, accessories, crown, sash, etc. By the show's end, you will realize that people who never came for practice sessions, or didn't even know how to walk in heels, won the crown. Reason? They were the high spenders. :)

I hope this information is helpful. I am hopeful that at least a few women who would read this review before signing up will be saved from mental and financial torture by Virgelia Productions. All the best!

I was one of the media outlets that covered the event.

Virgelia was not even at the pageant, she did not attend this pageant.

Your allegations of her controlling the result of the pageant is untrue and malicious.

Obviously you are one of the contestants of this pageant. Here is the link to my media coverage.

The event is always sold out because she made the candidates buy the tickets.

Duh!

Only the insiders would know how awful this pageant is . It is a complete scam that even the winners are mistreated.

I really hope Karma gets back to her one of these days and she will be suffering the consequences for what she did. I know it will!

I am one of the media outlets that covered this sold out event.

Your allegations are not true and malicious. I know for a fact that Virgelia did not even attend the events.

I have a copy of the souvenir program magazines. It is untrue that winners only has most pages.

As to your complaint on your expenditures, you made your own decision to spend this money.

You shop your hearts desires!

A Cautionary Tale: My Disheartening Experience with Virgelia Productions

As someone who values honesty and integrity, I feel compelled to share my experience with Virgelia Productions, which, regrettably, turned out to be a distressing ordeal. Initially enticed by the prospect of participating in their show, my excitement quickly turned to dismay.

The organization, operated solely by Virgelia, her daughter, and her sister, was alarmingly unprofessional. Contrary to my expectations of a well-staffed company, the absence of a dedicated team was the first red flag. The lack of professionalism extended to the planning and execution of their events. Practices were haphazardly organized in restaurants or wherever free space was available, lacking the structure and quality one would expect.

My biggest grievance, however, lies in the unethical behavior displayed by Virgelia. Her treatment towards individuals, especially those of Indian descent, was appalling. It was a disheartening display of discrimination and rudeness, completely unbecoming of someone in her position. This behavior alone cast a dark shadow over the entire experience.

Financial dealings with Virgelia Productions were equally concerning. It became evident that Virgelia's primary motive was to extract as much money as possible from participants under false pretenses. This exploitative approach was not only unethical but also deeply disappointing.

Moreover, collaborating with Virgelia and her associates was a lesson in caution. The lack of professionalism and the deceptive nature of these collaborations were a stark reminder that not all opportunities are as they seem. As a woman, I believe it's crucial to respect oneself and avoid such demeaning experiences.

In conclusion, my involvement with Virgelia Productions has been nothing short of a disgrace, leaving an indelible stain on my life. I urge others, especially women, to be wary and to value their self-worth above the false allure of such shows. My experience serves as a stark warning: not all that glitters is gold, and sometimes, it's best to steer clear of what seems too good to be true.

This review is written to articulate your experiences and observations while maintaining a respectful and professional tone. It's important to share honest feedback to help others make informed decisions.
